We are often mistaken
Of what’s truly powerful
Of what really can posses us
It’s not God,
It isn’t a united nation,
Not these elected beasts,
Not even those men
who holds the nuclear codes.
We can’t feel
What we can’t see
But we can feel
What it will make us see
Beneath that cranium of yours
Is something we forget
That can control
and can destroy you
If it is left unnoticed.
But maybe I like to
Keep it that way
It makes me feel,
Light, and easy
It does all the decisions,
Judgement,
Opinions,
And conclusions.
But the power
It spills out
After letting it out
Like a caged lion
Will burn you,
Your dreams,
Your whole life.
Away
