Postpartum Depression
Postpartum depression’s
the perfect expression,
describing my current lament,
my love’s with another,
my kids with their mother,
I feel ‘though my heart’s up for rent.
My dreams’ in the gutter,
my life’s in a stutter,
how could I have been quite so blind?
Postpartum depression’s
The perfect expression
describing my blue state of mind.
