Momentarily Afflicted
I’m sorry
The person you’re a trying to reach is unavailable if you’d like to make a call please try again...
I’m sorry
she’s passed out drunk
on the roof of a building
in a part of her mind you’ve never been to.
I’m sorry
That she discussed the nature of pleasure when smoke was slithering from her mouth.
I’m sorry
She made late night calls taste like
sweet and salty carcinogens.
I’m sorry
To be a bother, but can she get her bike lock back. Your keys never fit right anyway.
I’m sorry
She made you feel anything other than anxiety
for a moment.
I’m sorry
