When your eyes tear in the morning,

light runs from you.

twists around

changing hues

When you've had warning,

when your virtue

crumbles before you

When dawn fades away,

or when they hurt you...

Your flag flies

tattered and grey

When the hatred you've kept at bay

becomes longing,teardrops ensue,

Watery stains on

portraits you drew.

When the tide calls for you

spear pierces your side

it drains from you

there is nowhere to hide

I will run to you

I will save you

steer mercy to ground

You have rescued me

I will shine for you

Unleash the Heavens,

before we are drowned.

I will run to you

we will start anew

our own island,

alone in the sound

You have rescued me

in the morning

with the love
we have found.
