Jan 2019
exercising my mind,
challenging restless muscles.

heart vibrated in rhymes
body couldn’t comprehend.

feet marched distressingly
upon restless pavement.

concrete incinerated
between fatigued toes.

soul and humanity battled
a complexed imprisonment.

Appalachian was a battle ground,
that planted my fortune.

i twisted my cramped fate,
encountered an extraordinarily
individual wandering around
an disfigured realm.

discovering inner strength,
forced oxygen to pursue my stride.

demanding my determined breaths,
to encounter pulsating freedom.
