When it comes to you
I can hardly help myself:
this not-thinking,
this avoidance of thought
because sense says so,
and all the rest say no,
let it be,
let it be this way
no matter what.
But, of course, reason
must prevail
and I am left alone
with only a last glimpse of you;
before the door slams,
before the train leaves.
