Jan 2013
Amidst all that traffic,
I caught sight of a running You
What was it that You were trying to catch?
Surely it wasn't My attention.

I often look back to that moment,
Wondering why I remember it so vividly.
Maybe I saw unbridled freedom,
Something I had been yearning for.

Out of hundreds making up that chaos,
Why did my eye pick you out?
Was it meant to do that?
I would like to think it was.

The thought never crossed my mind,
That ten years later We would be together.
But here We are today,
Tomorrow can only be better.
