I have known you since my birth,
And I know its really been worth,
You showered so much of love on me,
You have been a dad and a mom for me,
You have been so supportive my whole life,
Though I have been as sharp as knife.

We went through a big tragedy,
Which brought lot of shivers in your body,
But you never showed it on your face,
And kept moving in a pace,
For me, you did a lot of sacrifices,
Though I never made any compromises.

You have always been my backbone,
And whenever I had shone,
You had always been excited,
Which I had always sighted,
You taught me to stand up after falling from a cliff,
But your attitude towards me has never been stiff.

A poem like this is not enough to describe you,
This is just a small gratitude towards you.
For all the love and care you showered,
I wish to be born your daughter every birth,
You are such a kindhearted person,
And a key to all my success.

I do want to apologize,
For all the noise,
And for being so tough,
I do love to tell aloud,
That I always feel proud,
To be known as my 'DAD's DAUGHTER'.
