You,
Everything about you,
Was perfect.
It was a cold night,
In March.
I was going through a break up.
I was actually talking to your cousin about it.
I said I was just going to end it.
What was the point in living anymore?
I was in the sixth grade.
Already trying to die.
Then there was you.
Your cousin said,
Hey let me give you my cousins phone number,
He is going through some hard stuff too right now.
So there I was,
The eleven year old girl,
Wanting to die.
Talking to a sixteen year old boy.
That I happened to fall in love with.
Four long years,
And lots and lots of tears.
I loved you for years.
And I tried so hard to call you mine.
Years past.
And we got back in contact,
We started flirting.
And here we are,
You’re mine,
And I am yours.
