Isn't it just so funny,
how people can just,
leave your life,
and come back as if nothing happened?

How they used you,
tricked you,
and tore you apart,
but still came back for more?

They go full,
and come back hungry for more.

Hungry snakes,
seething for an ounce of pain,
fueling themselves with the suffering of yours.

If you leave,
don't come back.

If you leave,
don't come back.

If you leave,
don't you dare come back.

Because my life has been pried and shredded open,
by the greedy hands of theirs.
Rips and tears running along my skin,
making everything ache and smart.

But I can't do anything about it,
my bandages and ointments no longer work,
makeup won't hide those gaping holes,
and stitches no longer held another together.

So when you leave,
do not come back.
