I am the blood in my veins
I am the beat of my heart
I am the bones under my skin
And I need to see what I am

So I watch as the blood fills the bath
And I feel the beating of my heart for the first time.
And I open my skin to see the whites of my bones
And I not only touch, but feel everything

And now that I know what I am
I am gone.
