Oh, how I love you.

I love
The way you forgive me when I am lost
The way you carry me to bed when I fall asleep on the couch
The way you whisper: “goodnight my sweet love” when you think I am asleep
The way you make my bed feel like the safest place in this galaxy.

But now,

I miss
You not finding me when I am lost
You tucking me into bed, when instead I now awaken at 1AM and walk myself in hollowed silence
Feeling your loving heart as a calming presence on the pillow next to me.

Oh, how I miss you.
