And so in doubt I cast my mind
To crystal oceans and future hills,
Fading slowly away with time
The lack thereof to reach my fill.
My heart beats slower,
Though not for death.
Alas the lack of love
Leaves my heart bereft.
In peace there lies her truest self,
But where she lies in peace tis unknown
Forgotten from the world
A lost soul beguiled
Hopeless in finding her true way home.
Ok, so this is an old one that I've dug up from the inner documents of my lap top. I think I originally started off by trying to follow some sort of Elizabethan language pattern - for funsies, you know... and I'm guessing this was probably near a single's Valentines Day... Anyways, all criticism is welcome. It's always fun/intriguing/embarrassing  to look at old work!
