I've been loving you so
long
now it seems
and I do not tire
of one chord, one stroke
one stream of earth
or gravel beneath you.

I've been loving you awhile now
loving your shapes
the lines of your silhouette.
And I bet,

this will not cease so soon as young loves
often do.

I've been loving you steadily now, how
since the day my eyes saw you
and felt the wind [first touched you] blow towards me.

the moment I couldn't catch my breath
when I fell within you.
I've been loving you so long now
[it certainly seems]

and it seems like time
can't measure us
[contain us]
limit us
at all.

I've been loving you so long now.
