Interrupt

I long to

 

awaken in the night

 

and be unable to

 

ease myself

 

back into an easy sleep.

 

I don’t want to be alone.

 

Lips

 

here

 

there.

 

Unsuspecting.

 

Pull

 

like a band-aid.

 

Find my veins.
