You say you want love but are you willing to fight the fight
You talk the talk and you wish upon the stars that shine at night
You’re scorched to the veins in your bleeding heart
Can the truth and the fantasy tear your mind apart?

Set in history as the great couple of Romeo and Juliet
They fell in love but yet died together so don’t you forget
Rose let go of Jacks hand and he swam out into the cold
Love was losing grip she had no choice so she just had to let go

Can’t bare to stand and watch the time get lost in the sun
I can’t be with you and treat your heart as a practice run
I’m not the guy who assumes he’s in love
Don’t want to come off as the guy who only wants to have fun

I remember when i first saw you at that party
You were acting drunk and such a complete hottie
But then I knew you were dangerous like an atom ticking bomb
I had to get out of there before I slowly fell in love

I want to get you out of my head cause you’re haunting me to death
The first time I saw you, you shook my heart and took my breath
I looked into my mirror and saw a lower class idiot with no plans at all
And this is the reason I don’t want to fall in love……
