Now and then,
as I remember when.
Such a warm feeling
washes over me.
A smile crosses my face,
can you believe it I say.
We used to be that way.
So much has passed,
no one thing has
been long to last.
I am glad that
you were there,
and you are with me now.
Not so much
in the physical,
if not every bit of you.
You are in my mind,
and my body's cells.
