Wish upon a star
Or candles on a cake
Wish for a better life
Wish upon your fate
Wish that you made a better choice the wish before
Wish that you could wish that wish once more
Wish for everything to become all right
Wishes upon wishes used every day and night
Life ain’t something you can just wish away
Life is a thing that you live day by day
Life goes on, and wishes are just dreams
Life is real, and granted wishes will never mean
That your life will go sailing on the calm,
Wishes can’t stop you coming to harm
Harmed in feelings or physically either
Wishes won’t help you, not from either
So don’t make a wish or a promise you can’t keep
Don’t believe in fate, or always make the peace.
Just let life settle out the bad parts
Because when it comes down to it a wish can’t mend a heart
But time can and that’s what we get in life
So don’t make a wish
Just go.
Make your Life.

Not fully sure what I wrote this about, but I think my message was a personal one to not hold on too tightly to things and just let time work issues out.
