wind breaks
barrier
sound takes
light
spontaneous
sounds fill
Children’s
eyes with
wonder  
a vision ceases
the world returns
to black
and white
we are alone in a
void deprived of sound
once more
and we realize
reality is dull
dull but utterly painful
the void encases
us
once more
we return to
the darkness
but we see
a fragment
a small ray
of light penetrating
the darkness
once more hope
arises
as the sun collides
with darkness
we see light
the darkness fades
we return to a reality
a reality painfully
right even thought
we wish to
disperse once more
