Well, I know I said I wouldn't talk anymore.
But Valentine's weird in which one materializes one's emotions
into a gift when emotions can't always and typically don't come in the form of things. Valentine are weird in school because you're not gonna know love or how to really appreciate someone when you're that young, at least it typically doesn't happen. It's a commercialized holiday and it gets passed down to little ones to keep the tradition going. How far do Valentines go also? It's not bounding each other's spirits to another, it's nothing more than "here you go". Alternatively, you can't force everyone to give everyone a Valentine, I know some schools have tried to do that, but it's not plausible. I would say for one not getting a Valentine, and growing up I hardly ever got them, is to know you're not by yourself and not to manifest those emotions into negative ones. Many good people do go unnoticed unfortunately, but good people should know their worth rather than basing it off a Valentine. It hurts if one doesn't get one, but it doesn't mean it's not there. Materials are finite, emotions last longer than some paper that will be crumpled or a candy soon to be digested.
