Everlasting
Where the north star
Comes out to play
As the big dipper nestles it into place

Everlasting
Where the silken sand
Winds it's way into a river
And the trees bend down
 to drink with golden tongue

Everlasting
Where grass folds itself
To laugh and play jump rope
With the grinning setting sun

Everlasting
Where the pond ripples
And sings down the mouth
Of the red mountain

Everlasting
Where the birds skip
In the air
And ride on the sea of happiness

Everlasting
Where my childish fingers
Smear poetic colors
Against a purple canvas sky

Everlasting
Where the place I call home
And visit in my dreams
Is caught in time
Never changing
In it's beauty
