Wishing the moon would explode, end the day.
Feeling grumpy and low, a mood astray,
The love of my life is near, yet I can't convey.

Stuck and unfair, unable to reach,
To express my love, lessons life teaches.
Nothing else interests, for what else to care,
All energy spent, kisses taken in the air.

Now, just sitting, reading a book,
Interesting to me, but to her, it may look
Dull, my patience overflowing,
Can't take it, the longing keeps growing.

Here for you, not everyone in view,
Sick of everything, craving some amour.
Missing hugs, yearning for a tour,
Time moves slow, the distance I abhor.

I can't reach you, high while I'm low,
Only touching you makes my heart's glow.
Marry me, be mine to the end of time,
Never leaving you, a promise, love sublime.
