On a gloomy night, shadows were the only one visible I see no one but silhouettes of people City lights, night sky, and cold air breeze Hoping this world take me appeas
As I took a step forward, someone grabbed me Grabbed me like a rope and asked for a plea Uttering such words like, “don’t leave, don’t go” When he’s the one who left and that’s what they don’t know
I grabbed his hands, loosing his tight hold “Please let me go, and take this endless road” All I just want is to wonder and wander With these raging thoughts that I’m about to ponder
Why would you care when it’s too late? I don’t even know which road to take So leave me alone is all I ask This final destination is a risk and a task
A risk I have to take and a task I have to make If you don’t know me, then I don’t know me too So let me take this walk with no one but myself Because now I think I don’t need somebody else
Let me know what my life would be With this endless road, I don’t know where I’d be Let these footsteps be my guide and these stars be my light Even if it leads me to death or life.
