She played her guitar for me last night.
As she strummed the strings
I could feel myself

She played her guitar for me last night.
Every chord landed like
An angelic chorus
Guiding me home.
Not real home of course
The home that lies within her
Eyes.
Her smile.
That lovely hair.
As she played her final chords
I could imagine
This empty house
Filled with her sounds.
Filled with her.
