Black for
The night
Black by the night
Black all through the night
The white light
Of white lines
Chalked out
On a reticent river
The teaching of owls
The flying times
Pass me by
Aging passes me by
If I were an owl
Or a bat
The dark would
Shine in my eyes
The night would
Chime
With my reverberating
Sound and screams
The day keep me
Asleep in the light
