Resemble your owners
Reflecting how overwhelming it is to have a life now that one's been given to you
Look hurt when you're stepped on
Mistake yourselves for my purpose
Curl up around my side
As if I'm nearing 80 and you're the only comfort I can come up with
I was here already, before you, and I'm here when you leave the room
This isn't Cinderella, dearies
I should have gone with a feline
Dogs never suited me
