Poems
Dec 2012
He told me once to look up at my own handiwork.
He once asked me
Was I just merely chiseling stone?
Or building a cathedral?
And to this day
I’ve seen life
In its most elevated grandeur
Because that’s what it is.
I just never looked up
At what I was creating.
I haven’t looked down since.
Thanks, PB.
