If only you could see your sickened state,
I no longer trust any sight or sound,
as if to lure me to sweet death by bait.
Shed tears remarkably never around ,
my mind twice calm now yearns insatiably,
grimace now at me thinking so deeply.
unmistakably unfathomable.
The swan fights silently, a thief tonight,
Fleeting moments taking most graceful form.
Flying free was stripped from her as a right.
Of noble birth a carnation is born,
Forever misunderstood and forlorn.
