Girl on Fire

The night is filled with fiery untamed thoughts, Confusing, errant, and new Swirling in my head Like smoke rising from its fire counterpart Trying to decipher these signals from afar, And instead they come faster and faster Like fire eating at the brush Smoldering and sizzling in my brain
