Rain just makes me smile
makes me stop and think awhile

When a fine mist hits my face
like a delicate sheet of lace

Each raindrop downward sent
each raindrop finds its target meant

I see lightening in the distance
another sign of your holy presence

Hot shivers run to my spine
waking my blood which is thine

Pouring from the sky, cool and wet
giving me solace, alas, so I can forget
