Phase
Just a phase
Phases you
Said it was a phase
Just a phase, haha
I wished you could rephase
The way you called it
Meant It wasn’t a place
So inside of you
For me there was no space
Time, hours, days
Please ignore me, I’m already dead
you won’t mourn me
A phase is but a passing of shadow
Something there now that will be gone by tomorrow
**** man, you’re killing me
I, wish I took it more seriously when
You told me this was just a “phase”
Written in the chapter of your book
I was the first line of each hook
Spinning the phrase, “And in this phase…”
Like an actor on the screen
Sometimes I was happy
Sometimes mean, but I could never intervinene
In the...phase.
I was someone that you could lean on
Urging you to dream on
Peddling the wheels of this
Phase
Falling deep into the haze
Of an anecdotal leisie
and called “love.”
What was just a phase.
