Dec 2012
When you touched me,
You made my heart dance erratically
My insides tingled like fireflies contained in a jar
When you sang to me,
I wanted to capture that moment forever
That raspy sound rustling my soul
But then you saw that girl
Who you seen all summer
And I was left alone, forgotten
Not broken, but reminiscent
of what could have been
And here I am
hoping and dreaming
That if I don't think about it
Love will find me
But will it really?
