Just a Moment

Just a moment of your time

Just a moment and I'll weave you such a tale

A tale of such tremendous joy

Joy I remember with out fail.

I met a girl, as pretty as they come

Pretty and smart in an equal part

Her smile won me over

Her smile won my heart.

I feared that she didn't feel the same

So I wrote her a song

A song that sang my feelings

My feelings I knew where strong.

But to my dismay she didn't see

See that my song was for her

I decided to take a different path

To blatantly tell my feelings sure

I was robbed of the first chance

A fool ruined what I was going to say

But I still confessed my love

And it worked out anyway.

As all true lovers do

We rose and soared

As our love grew and grew

By eachother we're never bored.

And the end good sir?

Good sir I'm not there yet

I'm still with that wonderful love

And so I'll be for many years I bet
