Here they march because they’re told to
Here they fight because they’re told to
Here they die because they’re told to
Everything they do is because they’re told to
Since the dawn of man marching proceeds
Since the dawn of man war spread like fire seeds

brothers have lost brothers
Mothers have lost sons
Children have lost fathers
Under the moon and sun

Here we still squabble
It seems like it’s all for fun
Until the break of dawn when the body tally is done
