Two Years
What turns a house into a home
It’s the love that’s shared within
What happens when the heart is gone
How do you begin again
Last night I had this crazy dream
It seemed so real and true
But I awoke with tear filled eyes
because I’m living without you
As I’m watching college football
I’m still wishing you were here
Deep down in my heart of hearts
It feels like you are near
Has it been two years already
Since the day you left
I’m not sad for the time that was taken
For the time we shared, I’m blessed
You’re no longer hurting,
no longer in pain,
I’ll take the sunshine
With the rain
