Breathing

I'm not a role model, it just isn't me

But there are things you need to see

A side of me you might not like

This side isn't as easy as riding a bike

What if you don't approve and let me go

Make up your mind time's moving to slow

Breathing is the hardest thing to do

When I'm looking right at you

With the sound of your voice

My breath's taken away

You made your choice

And I don't know what to say

Your favorite flowers and a special rose

You know how many girls would **** for those

I just couldn't keep up with his flair

You forgot about me and never stopped to care

I could say things are better

But they're **** when we aren't together

Breathing is the hardest thing to do

When I'm looking right at you

With the sound of your voice

My breath's taken away

You made your choice

And I don't know what to say

I swear to God I'll get my life on track

If it helps me win you back

I storm the gates and ask for forgiveness

Time seems to stand still it's an eerie stillness

One day when there isn't any more time

You'll turn on the radio and hear this rhyme

Breathing is the hardest thing to do

When I'm looking right at you

With the sound of your voice

My breath's taken away

You made your choice

And I don't know what to say
