I am not the same,
not since the day I came.
I came into this world acting quite odd,
now my mother prays to god.
this world is rather cruel,
and now I feel like a fool.
I thought the world would be fair,
but I've learned that it doesn't care.
what to do with a girl like me,
while the herd is running free.
I laid mud upon myself,
so I could look like everyone else.
I felt bad to be unique,
but recently found it's quite chic.
for everyone out there, here's some advice,
its okay to be a zebra without any stripes.
