I sat in the solitude of the dark,
My mind almost gone.
I’ve lost my spark,
But my life must move on.
I’m lost,
I don’t know what to do.
My body feels covered in frost,
I ask my self “where are you?”
Ghosts whisper in my ear,
Is death drawing near?
Where are you, soul?
My heart is a big empty hole.
Am I alright?
Is this worth the fight?
Is there a way to fix this?
If I disappear, will I be missed?
I ask my self “where are you?”
This trick is rather cruel.
I sit in the solitude of the dark,
My mind almost gone.
Sitting here withought a heart,
Waiting for the break of dawn.
