That Quiet Life
Fire-lit windows in crystal light,
The chair rocks the holder of twinkling eyes
Light shatters a silver bell
Afright.
And the grand daughter plays among the green meadows
Hope, love, fierce-willed
She stands amongst the gallows.
Determination
Passed on.
For generations.
