Life on the farm
Is for the strong of heart
Who can find new and verdant green patches
Of grass even when the soil is parched
It is for those optimistic in mind
Who expect the caprice of rain
Even when it is a scintillating day
Where the sun has barely been away
It is for the experienced in body
Who can find that hint of moisture in the air
Without a sight or sound of something GRAY
And tell from there cattle's awkward gait
That it's time to lead them to their hay
Or become coyote carcass-bait
Not to mention, farmers are some of the hardest workers.
