Oct 2018
your claws are long and far reaching
even now with years past, you scratch me still
i hear you in every doorway and cabinet
your many wheels crossing america's roads

how could it be your evil
was ever allowed into my home
what did you gain from your malice
other than the things i wont forget

i never see you coming
you hide in words and sounds
always waiting to rush back to me
and cut me down
