I caught her
Hugging herself again,
Once more she is afraid.
Stuck, like a deer in headlights
Shes timid with her approach.
Her eyes worrisome
And I can't look away.
Shes something I want to taste.
Shes my innocence.
I could see myself pouring deeply into her soul,
Never letting go.
I can be the arms she needs to hold her insecurities,
That blanket for comfort,
She is cold, melting,
Id be her mold.
To show her how thick love can get,
how much depth she has that I can fit.
She is a heavy soul, too eager to let go,
I want to hold her,
long enough for the pain to go away.
To be her strength everyday,
to take the hits, just so theyd miss her.
To be her everything, in everyway.
