Walking- away in the rain,
I'm thinking- that it's so late,
The clock's struck one- I'm falling down,
Under the streetlights- stars that I can barely see.
I don't like- the town lights anymore,
When I'm trapped- in my head,
I can't see- stars as clearly,
So get those lights off- I can send more unanswered prayers,
Despite my disbelief.

Ease my breath,
Release my neck,
I need to run to the forest,
Let me see the stars again.
