Why would you even ask
Why I've been saddled with such a task.
To know what I do and not to share it
Any sane man could not bare it
The truth of the world the lies we've been told
To try and keep us within the fold,
Of ignorance, deceit, subterfuge and defeat
Of guilt, shame and sorrow
No hopeful tomorrow.
We can do nothing
Its already too late
To try an return to our original state.
So here we all are beleagured and lost
Our children are the ones who will bear the cost
