Dec 2012
There's a devil breathing down the back of my neck
Every word you say has me twisted
Where do you say we go from here?

Nothing we had will ever be mended
Don't you see the girl you've affected
and how she longs to disappear?

Where did that little boy go?
I remember, I used to know you.
But that's not now, look around.
The world has changed;
why can't I follow suit?
I've realized I know nothing about you.

Beneath this translucent skin
There's only blood, and, oh, it's thin.
