Dec 2012
if it's a free country,
why can you control what I think?
I don't think I'm really free
from your lies that weigh me down till I sink
this burden is an anchor
it's a life sentence
and I can't cash out like a banker.
I think of my fate, but I don't wince
nobody knows the pain I hold
but I'm not complaining, I accept the facts
don't hate me because I broke the mold.
I defend myself against all your attacks
and I do it with a smile
I can take your hits
I'm not in denial
I"m not ready to call it quits
