Cute

Sometimes I feel pretty

or cute

or even beautiful

but those occurrences are very rare

for me

because I'm not pretty

or cute

or beautiful

and then you came along

and you started to tell me

how cute

how pretty

how beautiful

I am

but I never believed you

because I knew you were lying

but you kept telling me

how cute

how pretty

how beautiful

I am

and I started to look

at myself differently

when I walked past the mirror

but I never thought

I was

cute

or pretty

or beautiful
