It rings in my head
That we’re hopeless
A dozen nights,
In a dozen different countries
Couldn’t have held us
At least not close enough
Well, maybe if we walk the walk
Pretend it was written in the stars
But, it rings in my head
How you’ve never loved
Like you did her
And it doesn’t have to be right
To be enough
