Dec 2012
A majestic woeful inadequacy
takes charge
in the dead of the night.
Disquieting, diminishing spirit
—a gentle, existential reminder
to the struggling self-less soul.
The flame comes and goes
but mostly goes.
So blow softer
when the flame is far out.
Blow softer,
blow softer
but don't ever stop.
