salmon fish swim against current
up against a mighty force they prevail
to lay eggs, to ensure they will exist
and continue for generations
to fight the battle 'til exhaustion
to be hunted by the norwegian fisherman
who then sells the fish to international companies
to commerce its way to my platter
today I had salmon for dinner
feeling grateful
